To book your driving test ,you can book online or by post,to book online go to rsa.ie/driving test section/quick link>apply online.There are certain conditions,you must abide by first.

• You must make sure,you are eligible to sit the test >6 month rule(you can only sit your test,six months after you received your first learner permit).
• You should make sure you have taken the mandatory lessons for certain car drivers i.e.(EDT).
• Know your PPS number.
• Have a valid debit ,credit or la ser card(mastercard and visa are currently accepted ).

The advantage about booking online is that you may schedule a test for yourself if one is available,and you may also change your test date and time if it does not suit .If you are having problems booking online,contact the driving test section on RSA website by emailing driving test [email protected],or by telephoning 1890 406040.

By post-you need to fill out an application form"practical driving test"fill it out correctly and post it off with the correct fee (85euro)cheque or postal order to "driver testing section,Moy valley business park,primrose hill,Dublin road,Ballina,Co.Mayo.you can get application forms from your local motor tax office,rsa driving test centres,local garda station or apply online to print one off at rsa.ie/driving test/quick link(by post).
